This course is designed for a diver looking to advance their diving activities past basic training. Students will be introduced to advantages and limitations of NITROX diving.
In addition to theories and applications of Nitrox students will be introduced to essential in water skills required for more advanced diving.
The most significant difference in ANDI NITROX is the introduction of a "deco" bottle with all appropriate aspects of using it. This includes gas switching, removing and receiving the bottle. However, this course does not actually expose students to decompression obligation.
This aspect is not available at this level of training in any other training agency. Introducing the deco bottle as well as expanding the academic background of Nitrox diving is an invaluable tool not only for those who like to pursue technical diving but also for individuals who like to maximize the potential of recreational diving.
